the holiday pop-up —Dec 9, 2016 to Dec 11, 2016

The holiday season and that meant one thing —so much to shop and so little time!

Cooking demos and book signings were  just a couple added bonuses to Dobbs Ferry Holiday Pop-Up shop.  Shoppers were able to  browse the wares of local artisans, jewelry designers, whiskey makers and fashion retailers while listening to live music and chatting with neighbors.

Dobbs Ferry Holiday Pop-Up shop took the stress out of finding that most unique gift and threw in an array of fun, it was a win-win!

employment law 101 —May 2 ,2016

Do I need to pay overtime?

Who REALLY qualifies to be an independent contractor?

And what about those unpaid internships?

Eric Su and Jennifer A. Williams of national employment and labor law firm Ford Harrison LLP answered these lively and pressing questions at our latest discussion event. Topics expanded to wage-and-hour compliance (minimum wage, overtime, wage notices), discrimination, unpaid interns, and independent contractor classification. While closing with a question-and-answer session.

It was a night for business owners to receive answers to employment law questions, all while enjoying delicious Cedar Street Grill food and refreshments.
